CROMVOIRT, Netherlands - Following the Saturday Four-Ball session of the Solheim Cup captains Angela Stanford and Anna Nordqvist revealed their lineup for the Sunday Singles matches at Bernardus Golf. For the seventh time in the history of the Solheim Cup, the U.S. and European Teams head into the Sunday session tied. Here’s a preview of the 12 singles matches that will determine the outcome of this year’s Solheim Cup. All tee times are local.
Megan Khang vs. Charley Hull - 11:10 a.m.
Khang will go out first for the United States for the second time in her career, having also led the Americans in Spain in 2023 when she won 1 UP over Linn Grant. Khang has a stellar overall record in the Sunday singles matches at 3-0-1. Hull will lead the singles line up for the Europeans for the second consecutive Solheim Cup after defeating Nelly Korda handily in 2024. Hull is winless heading into the final day after losing in all four sessions she played alongside Lottie Woad on Friday and Saturday. Hull’s record in the singles matches is 2-3-1.
Alison Lee vs. Esther Henseleit - 11:22 a.m.
Lee will look to recapture the magic she was a part of the last time the Americans pulled out a win on European soil in 2015 in which she won her singles match 3&1 over Gwladys Nocera. Lee lost in the singles matches in her return to the competition in 2024. Lee will face Henseleit who is making just her second appearance for Team Europe. Henseleit tied her match with Andrea Lee at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in 2024.
Yin will be well-rested for her singles match having sat out both sessions on Saturday. She has a record of 2-0-1 in her three prior appearances in the singles matches. Grant has struggled in the final day format of the Solheim Cup with a record of 0-2-0 in her two prior appearances for Team Europe.
Korda sat out the afternoon session Saturday to give her time to rest and prepare for her Sunday singles match-up. Korda has gone 2-2-0 in her four prior appearances in the Sunday singles matches including a notable loss in 2024 to Charley Hull in which she was defeated 6&4. Korda will face a rookie in Rhodes who has been impressive in her debut for the Europeans at Bernardus Golf having won two points for her team.
Allisen Corpuz vs. Nanna Koerstz Madsen - 11:58 a.m.
In the Sunday singles matches in 2024, Corpuz defeated current European Solheim Cup captain Anna Nordqvist 3&1 en route to an American victory at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. Corpuz’s overall record in the Sunday singles matches is 1-1-0, having lost to Maja Stark in Spain in 2023. Koerstz Madsen’s only other Solheim Cup appearance came in 2021 when she tied her singles match against Austin Ernst.
Andrea Lee vs. Nastasia Nadaud - 12:10 p.m.
The Sunday singles matches have been a tough format for Lee who has a record of 0-0-2 in her two prior appearances in 2023 and 2024. Lee tied her singles match with Georgia Hall in 2023 and Esther Henseleit in 2024. Nadaud will make her debut on Sunday in the singles matches.
Yealimi Noh vs. Julia Lopez Ramirez - 12:22 p.m.
As a rookie, Noh was victorious in her first Sunday singles match when she defeated Mel Reid 1 UP in Toledo at Inverness Club in 2021. Lopez Ramirez will be the rookie this time around as she looks to replicate what Noh achieved and win in her debut. Lopez Ramirez sat out each of the sessions on Saturday and should be well-rested for the challenge.
A pair of Solheim Cup rookies will go head-to-head with Kim and Woad squaring off in the final session of the week. Kim earned her first Solheim Cup point in the afternoon Four-Ball session Saturday alongside teammate Rose Zhang. Woad was unable to secure a point so far this week while paired with teammate Charley Hull in four different sessions.
Lauren Coughlin vs. Leona Maguire - 12:46 p.m.
A pair of gritty competitors will go square off in this match-up. But Coughlin’s energy will be tested as she is the only member of the U.S. Team to compete in all five sessions this week. Coughlin tied Maja Stark in her Solheim Cup debut in 2024 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. Maguire has gone undefeated in the Sunday singles matches in her three prior appearances.
Duncan will make her debut in the Sunday singles matches and look to add to her winning total this week as she secured her first point alongside teammate Jennifer Kupcho in the Saturday Four-Ball session. Stark owns a record of 1-0-1 in the singles matches in her two prior Solheim Cup appearances. The Swede tied her singles match with Lauren Coughlin 2024 and she defeated Allisen Corpuz 3&1 in 2023.
Jennifer Kupcho vs. Carlota Ciganda - 1:10 p.m.
Kupcho will no-doubt be riding momentum into what could be a pivotal match on Sunday that could determine the outcome of the Solheim Cup based on her current position in the lineup. Kupcho proved to be a difference maker on Saturday as she rolled in putts from long range on the 17th and 18th holes of her Four-Ball match to flip the match in the Americans’ favor. In her three prior Solhei Cup appearances, Kupcho’s record is 1-2-0 in the singles format. Ciganda has been known to be just as clutch as Kupcho in the Solheim Cup and it was Ciganda who was defeated by Kupcho in the Four-Ball matches on Saturday along with teammate Celine Boutier. In 2023, Ciganda clinched the final point that Europe needed in order to retain the cup when the two teams tied in Spain. Ciganda’s overall singles record is 4-2-1.
Rose Zhang vs. Celine Boutier - 1:22 p.m.
While unlikely, but certainly possible, the anchor match between Zhang and Boutier could also be a point of determination for this year’s Solheim Cup. In 2024, Zhang defeated Ciganda handily at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club with a 6&4 victory over the veteran in the singles matches. However, Zhang lost to Leona Maguire 4&2 in her Solheim Cup debut in 2023. Boutier has gone winless so far this week in the Netherlands, but has an overall record of 3-1-0 in her four prior appearances in the singles matches.
