01Oklahoma State의 역사적 순간

Preston Stout를 필두로 Oklahoma State는 상위 25위에 4명을 배치했다. Stout(1위) 외에 senior Ethan Fang(12위), Eric Lee(15위), Gaven Lane(18위)이 함께다.

2021년 첫 PGA Tour University 클래스 졸업 이후, 3명의 senior가 모두 상위 25위에 진입한 팀은 8개 있었다. 하지만 4명이 모두 진입한 것은 Oklahoma State가 처음이다.

NCAA Championship 최종 라운드(2027년 5월 28-31)에서 상위 25위로 피니시한 선수들은 PGA Tour(1위), Korn Ferry Tour(2-10위), PGA Tour Americas(11-25위) 멤버십을 얻는다.

02경쟁 팀들

6개 팀이 상위 25위에 2명씩 배치했다.

디펜딩 챔피언 Auburn Tigers는 Josiah Gilbert(5위)와 Cayden Pope(13위)를 배치했다. Texas Tech는 European Amateur 챔피언 Tim Wiedemeyer(4위)와 U.S. Amateur 준준결승 진출자 Adam Bresnu(9위)를 보냈다.

Arizona State, Charlotte, Florida, Utah도 2명씩 상위 25위에 배치했다.

03상위 랭킹

2위는 Florida State의 Tyler Weaver. Walker Cup에서 2점을 기록해 Great Britain & Ireland의 미국 상대 1점 우승을 도왔다.

3위는 Oklahoma의 Ryder Cowan. Oklahoma는 2021년 이래 PGA Tour University 졸업생 9명(가장 많음)을 배출했다.

04PGA Tour University의 성과

PGA Tour University 시작 6년간 130명이 53개 학교에서 프로 혜택을 얻었다. 그 중 40명이 67승을 기록했다.

올 시즌 9명의 alumni이 FedExCup Playoffs에 진출했고, 4명(Chris Gotterup, Ludvig Åberg, Jacob Bridgeman, Alex Fitzpatrick)이 TOUR Championship까지 진출했다.

클래스별 1위 선수들은 주로 PGA Tour 직행권을 얻었다. Florida State의 John Pak(2021)과 Texas의 Pierceson Coody(2022)는 Korn Ferry Tour 1순위로 시작했고, Texas Tech의 Ludvig Åberg(2023), Stanford의 Michael Thorbjornsen(2024), North Carolina의 David Ford(2025), Virginia의 Ben James(2026) 등이 1위로 PGA Tour 멤버십을 획득했다.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Led by No. 1-ranked Preston Stout, Oklahoma State has four players in the top 25 of the season's first PGA Tour University Ranking for the Class of 2027. Stout is joined by fellow seniors Ethan Fang (No. 12), Eric Lee (No. 15) and Gaven Lane (No. 18), as the Cowboys prepare to open their 2026-27 season at the Sahalee Players Championship (Sept. 12-13).

Since the first PGA Tour University class graduated in 2021, eight teams have had a class of three seniors earn benefits, and Oklahoma State has the chance to be the first class with four PGA Tour University graduates. By finishing in the top 25 at the end of stroke play at the NCAA Championship (May 28-31, 2027), players will earn membership on the PGA Tour (No. 1), Korn Ferry Tour (Nos. 2-10) or PGA Tour Americas (Nos. 11-25).

Six teams have two players in the top 25 to start the season, including the defending champion Auburn Tigers with Josiah Gilbert (No. 5) and Cayden Pope (No. 13). Also placing two in the first ranking was Texas Tech, with European Amateur champion Tim Wiedemeyer (No. 4) and U.S. Amateur quarterfinalist Adam Bresnu (No. 9). Arizona State, Charlotte, Florida and Utah are the other four schools with two players in the top 25.

Starting his senior season at No. 2 is Florida State's Tyler Weaver, who recorded two points at the Walker Cup and helped Great Britain and Ireland to a one-point win over the United States. Rounding out the top five is Ryder Cowan (No. 3) of Oklahoma, the program with the most PGA Tour University graduates (nine) since 2021.

In the first six years of PGA Tour University, 130 players from 53 schools have earned performance benefits, and 40 alumni have combined for 67 professional victories. Nine PGA Tour University alumni qualified for the FedExCup Playoffs this season, with four alumni (Chris Gotterup, Ludvig Åberg, Jacob Bridgeman, Alex Fitzpatrick) advancing to the TOUR Championship.

Florida State's John Pak (2021) and Texas Pierceson Coody (2022) earned Korn Ferry Tour membership as the No. 1 players in their class, while Texas Tech's Åberg (2023), Stanford's Michael Thorbjornsen (2024), North Carolina's David Ford (2025) and Virginia's Ben James (2026) finished No. 1 and earned PGA Tour membership.

In partnership with the World Amateur Golf Ranking® (WAGR®), PGA Tour University ranks players based on the last two years of their collegiate careers. Eligible Tournaments include NCAA Division I men's team competitions, official PGA Tour tournaments and select DP World Tour events. The Ranking Period for the Class of 2027 began Week 23/2025 and concludes May 31, 2027, following the final round of stroke play at the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship.
